'Endgame Investigation' Yoon Kyung-ho: "Thanks for the popularity on variety shows, but I’m still worried my character might get hidden…" Persistent sincerity in acting

Yoon Kyung-ho shared his thoughts on his recent popularity.

On March 25, a press screening and press conference for 〈Endgame Investigation〉 was held at CGV Yongsan I-Park Mall. At the event, Director Park Chul-hwan, actors Bae Sung-woo, Jeong Ga-ram, Cho Han-cheol, and Yoon Kyung-ho attended and shared stories about 〈Endgame Investigation〉, scheduled to be released in April.

That day, Yoon Kyung-ho was asked about reactions from those around him after the recently released YouTube variety shows like 'Pinggyego' and 'Nabul Nabul.' Yoon Kyung-ho said, "People have been really enjoying the way I’m shown on YouTube," and "I even get lots of photos taken in my neighborhood, and I can really feel the popularity." He offered his candid impressions.

Even so, Yoon Kyung-ho added, "I’m happy that people think of me warmly, and I don’t want to lose that side of me. But I also worry that if I lean too much into this image, when I show different kinds of acting, the character might get hidden," and "So 〈Endgame Investigation〉 Jo Dong-ho is, in a way, something I’m also glad to play. I’m looking forward to showing a different side from what I’ve shown before," sharing his concerns as an actor.

Telling the story of Detective Seo Jae-hyeok, who finds a new lead in a past case, and rookie detective Kim Jung-ho—one case and two suspects—〈Endgame Investigation〉 opens in theaters on April 2.
