Along with the start of the KBO season, TVING is ready to capture baseball fans with a range of content.
Ahead of the opening of the “2026 Shinhan SOL KBO League” on Saturday, March 28, TVING announced that it will carry the momentum of KBO League popularity through “TVING Super Match,” scheduled twice a week, and “Fandom Broadcast” live broadcasts running throughout the season. A TVING representative said, “Now in its third year broadcasting KBO League games, TVING has boosted its own live competitive edge even further,” adding, “With immersive, differentiated experiences you can only get on TVING, we will firmly establish the formula ‘Baseball is TVING.’”
“TVING Super Match” is a full-package show you can catch every Tuesday and Friday, featuring a pregame preview show, live coverage using multi-angle special camera views and high-quality graphics, and a review show after the game. Broadcaster Jeong Yong-geon and announcer Park Ji-young, along with baseball players-turned commentators including Lee Taek-geun, Jung Keun-woo, Yoon Seok-min, and Hwang Jae-gyun, have joined the lineup. TVING also expanded the “ambient stadium sound broadcast” feature of TVING Super Match—previously available only on the existing mobile app and on PCs—so it now reaches smart TVs as well. “Fandom Broadcast,” fan-participation live content, will be placed front and center starting with Opening Day. Unlike last year, when it began running midseason, this year it will take place every weekend from Opening Day through the Korean Series with baseball fans. Fans can follow every game of the team they cheer for, chatting in real time via TVING Talk with each team’s host.
Content including “TVING Super Match” and the live “Fandom Broadcast” can be found in the “KBO League Special Section” of the TVING app.
