Park Bo-young, who has turned dark in a maelstrom of desire and greed, is showcased in the trailer for 〈Goldland〉.

〈Goldland〉 tells the story of Hee-ju (Park Bo-young), who takes the 150 billion won gold bars from a smuggling organization—fighting tooth and nail to get her hands on the gold while clearing away countless others driven by desire. Notably, this is the first crime thriller Park Bo-young has taken on since launching her acting career, and 〈Goldland〉 released its main trailer today (the 30th), underscoring that the broadcast is just around the corner.

The released trailer compresses Hee-ju’s childhood into a vivid sequence and depicts the steps that lead her to crave the gold bars. At her lover Do-kyung’s (Lee Hyun-wook) request, she redirects the smuggled goods—but once she realizes the gold bars are inside, Hee-ju makes an irreversible decision. Then the organization’s executive Park (Lee Kwang-soo), the loan-company employee U-gi (Kim Sung-cheol), and the crooked police officer Jin-man (Kim Hee-won), among others, all set out to pursue them with the gold bars in their sights. Amid a chase that rapidly raises the heartbeat, Park Bo-young’s voice can be heard saying, “If it’s not anyone’s anyway, why can’t I take it?”—heightening expectations for the clash of desires in 〈Goldland〉.

〈Goldland〉 will air a total of 10 episodes: after releasing Episodes 1–2 on Wednesday, April 29, it will broadcast two episodes each week.
