The beloved “King” Grogu has arrived in Jamsil, Seoul.

On May 1, “Star Wars Day 2026 IN Jamsil” kicked off at the Lotte World Tower area in Jamsil, Seoul. With a special experience space prepared for the movie 〈The Mandalorian and Grogu〉, set for release on the 27th, the event drew plenty of attention from prospective viewers.

At “Star Wars Arena” created at the Lotte World outdoor grass plaza, there was an interactive Grogu Force photo spot, as well as a display of “Din Djarin” and “Grogu” statues. In particular, a large “Giant Grogu” sculpture reaching a height of 10m was sure to put visitors at ease with its charming presence. “Star Wars Day 2026 IN Jamsil” also announced that, on Children’s Day, May 5 at 6:00 PM, the Star Wars official fan club “501st Legion Korea” will hold a parade.

Meanwhile, at the Seoul Sky observatory at Lotte World Tower, an interactive themed space called “Star Wars : Above the Galaxy” will operate until Sunday, June 28. In the Welcome Zone on B1, character installations of “Darth Vader” and “Stormtroopers” greet visitors, and on B2, the 〈The Mandalorian and Grogu〉 themed area offers yet another set of attractions. The new Star Wars universe film 〈The Mandalorian and Grogu〉 is scheduled to hit theaters nationwide on May 27, including IMAX.
