According to a release from agency 'Big Hit Music' on the 19th, the song, originally released as part of the OST for the SBS drama 'Our Beloved Summer', has been recorded as V’s fifth solo track to reach 500 million streams. Previously, 'Love Me Again', 'Winter Ahead', 'FRI(END)S', and 'Slow Dancing' had all set the same milestone.

Released on December 24, 2021, 'Christmas Tree' made a splash immediately after its release by entering No. 79 on the U.S. 'Billboard' main singles chart 'Hot 100'—the first time ever for a Korean drama OST in the U.S. Even years after its release, it continues to enjoy enthusiastic support from listeners worldwide and sustains long-running chart momentum.
