The film 〈Hana Korea〉 tells the story of Hye-seon, a North Korean defector who, even amid an unfamiliar life, ultimately sets out to move forward. Based on a true story, it is a Korean-Danish co-production, drawing attention. In particular, the project has generated buzz as Kim Min-ha's new film following her rise to global stardom through the drama 〈Pachinko〉.

In response, 〈Hana Korea〉 released Kim Min-ha's character still on June 8. Playing Hye-seon, Kim Min-ha teased the film with detailed emotional acting, portraying the difficult reality—and hope—of a woman trying to carve out her place in a new society. Even in the released still cut, viewers can feel the movie's atmosphere through Hye-seon's sense of anxiety and, despite it all, her fierce, unwavering gaze.
