James Barker began his broadcasting career in 2011 at Leftfield Pictures, where he came to prominence in the industry by working as a producer for well-known reality shows familiar to local fans, including “Pawn Stars,” “Forged in Fire,” and “Counting Cars.” After that, he moved to ITV America and helped make Netflix hit “Queer Eye” and “Love Island Games” a success.
In particular, when he joined “Love Island USA” in 2020 as a story producer, his exceptional directing abilities were recognized, and he went through rapid promotions. In the past three seasons, he has been carrying out the role of executive producer (EP), overseeing production and post-production, as well as the soundtrack as a whole.
