A heartfelt proposal by actor “Park Bo-gum”—saying he wanted to mark the 10th anniversary—has finally come to fruition. The stars of the KBS drama “Love in the Moonlight” that once set the living room television screens on fire will gather together again, surpassing the ten-year gap.

KBS announced in an official statement on the 13th that it has moved to air the newly scheduled “Love in the Moonlight Again: Illuminated by the Moonlight,” a “10th anniversary” special variety program, starting next month on the 16th and running over two weeks. Beyond a simple reunion, the show is already drawing intense anticipation before it even airs as a new form of travel variety that carries forward the work’s legacy.

This project brings together, without exception, the five leading actors who led the craze when the series aired in 2016—Park Bo-gum, Kim Yoo-jung, Jin Young, Chae Soo-bin, and Kwak Dong-yeon. The group will share a 1-night, 2-day journey with Hongcheon, Gangwon-do as the backdrop, and will reflect on the arc of the past 10 years and the deep meaning the work left behind.
