The animated film 〈Stitch Head: The Little Monster from the Castle〉 unveiled its Korean voice cast Aug. 21 ahead of its September release. Hwang Jung-min, Choo Young-woo and Park Soo-young, who performs as Joy of the group Red Velvet, have been cast as the leads in a humorous and moving adventure. 〈Stitch Head: The Little Monster from the Castle〉 follows the castle's first monster, Stitch Head, created by a mad genius doctor, as he ventures beyond the castle walls to protect it and his monster friends when they face danger.

Hwang Jung-min is taking on dubbing for the first time in his career. He voices Fulbert Freakfinder, the sly ringmaster of a monster show who leads a traveling monster troupe. "I approached the project with excitement because it was my first time taking on animation dubbing," he said. "He is a fascinating character who combines shameless charm, comedy and ambition, so I put a great deal of effort into making sure audiences could have plenty of fun through his voice alone."

Choo Young-woo voices Stitch Head, the first creation of the mad genius doctor and a little monster who longs to be loved. "I was deeply captivated by the original story's warm emotion and Stitch Head's pure yet resilient inner self," he said. "It was meaningful to take on this new challenge of conveying the character's varied emotions through voice alone, and I want to deliver a powerful emotional impact and courage to audiences." Park Soo-young voices Arabella, a curious human girl. "I was deeply drawn to Arabella's courageous willingness to open her heart without prejudice and help her friends," she said. "I had a wonderful time working on the film so I could share warm energy and a positive message with audiences. I hope you will show it lots of interest and anticipation."
