Over the past year, K-pop artists claimed six of the top 10 spots in Asia’s concert tour revenue rankings, demonstrating their overwhelming global standing.
According to “Asia Focus Charts: Top Touring Artists,” recently released by Pollstar, the group SEVENTEEN ranked first, with tour revenue of $97,390,044 (about 129.6 billion won) and 661,088 tickets sold. The chart covers tour revenue across Asia from Aug. 1 last year through July 31 this year.

Sold-out stadiums showcase SEVENTEEN’s strength across Asia
SEVENTEEN took its world tour FOLLOW, which kicked off last September, to major stadiums in cities including Incheon, Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok and Bulacan. The group made history as the first K-pop act to sell out all four shows at Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Stadium. It also staged a total of 22 successful concerts across Asia, including major venues such as Vantelin Dome Nagoya, Kyocera Dome Osaka, Tokyo Dome and Mizuho PayPay Dome Fukuoka.

K-pop dominates global charts, demonstrating its firm grip on the market
Alongside SEVENTEEN’s run at the top, other K-pop groups also stood out in the chart. Girl group TWICE came in second, followed by TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) in third and BTS in fourth, putting them among the top-ranked acts. Girl group BLACKPINK placed eighth, while ENHYPEN ranked ninth, bringing the number of K-pop acts among the top 10 to six.
Pollstar, in an accompanying analysis, predicted that “K-pop’s dominance of the Asian market, anchored by Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia and Dubai, will remain strong going forward,” praising the genre’s considerable influence in driving the global live music market.
