K-Drama Festival 2026 Brings Korean Culture to Tokyo and Osaka in November

A special festival offering a multifaceted celebration of Korean dramas, 'K-Drama Festival 2026,' will bring excitement to Japan this November.

A forum for sharing K-content through screenings, music and conversation According to the music and broadcasting industries, the event will run for four days, from Nov. 19 to 20 in Tokyo and Nov. 24 to 25 in Osaka. As K-content enjoys enormous popularity around the world, the festival will feature a rich program, including highlight screenings, live OST performances and behind-the-scenes talks with the stars of the shows. After select sessions, a high-touch event (a goodbye event) will also give cast members and fans a chance to connect up close, offering local fans unforgettable memories.

From K.Will's hit OSTs to talks with Kim Dong-wan and Bae Yoo-ram: a night in Tokyo On Nov. 19, the first day of the Tokyo performances, acclaimed vocalist K.Will will take the stage for moving live OST performances alongside highlight screenings of the smash hits 〈Descendants of the Sun〉 and 〈The Beauty Inside〉. In the first session the next day, Nov. 20, Shinhwa's Kim Dong-wan, who stars in 〈Please Take Care of the Five Eagle Brothers!〉, and producer Choi Sang-yeol will take the stage to share vivid stories from behind the scenes. The second session will feature highlights from the hugely popular 〈Taxi Driver 3〉, followed by an in-depth conversation with scene-stealing actor Bae Yoo-ram and Jang Won-seok, a producer at BA Entertainment.

Yoon Sang-hyun, Monday Kiz and Oh Chang-seok bring the excitement to Osaka The Korean Wave excitement will continue in Osaka. At the Nov. 24 Osaka performance, actor Yoon Sang-hyun and the group Monday Kiz will present highlight clips from 〈Secret Garden〉 and 〈My Fair Lady〉, which captivated TV audiences, along with nostalgia-evoking OST performances and talks. On the final day, Nov. 25, lead actor Oh Chang-seok from 〈The Woman Who Swallowed the Sun〉 will appear in the first session, followed by veteran supporting actors Hong In and Lee Joong-ok from 〈The Auditors〉 in the second, bringing the festival to a close. The event is expected to be a meaningful opportunity to leave a deep impression of Korea's cultural appeal on local audiences through K-dramas.
