TWICE Announces Regular 4th Album 'THIS IS FOR' to Celebrate 10th Anniversary!

Girl group TWICE has announced the release of their regular 4th album 'THIS IS FOR' to celebrate their 10th anniversary, according to their agency JYP Entertainment on the 11th.

Since their debut in 2015, TWICE has led a global K-pop phenomenon, and they explained that this album aims to convey their growth over the past 10 years and their gratitude to their fans. The album includes a total of 14 tracks, including the title track of the same name, 'FOUR', 'OPTIONS', 'MARS', and 'RIGHT HAND GIRL'.

TWICE stated about this album, "This is a work prepared with the intention of sending support to the public both domestically and internationally who have shown affectionate interest over the past 10 years, and to our fandom 'ONCE' who have always been by TWICE's side, looking in the same direction together." They added, "We wanted to include music that would be remembered as a work fitting for our 10th anniversary."

The members explained about the new songs, "While keeping TWICE's unique color, we tried to incorporate fresh and different charms by changing the unit (subgroup) song combinations and concept photo shoots." They also mentioned, "This album holds special meaning for us, and many member opinions were included during the work. We were glad to realize that the charm we want to show as TWICE is limitless."

Regarding their feelings on reaching the 10th anniversary, TWICE expressed special affection. They said, "We have a nickname 'Sowice' because we work hard like cows," and added, "Thanks to the great love from our members and fans who continuously support us, we have been able to continue our activities. 'ONCE' is our greatest driving force," expressing their gratitude towards their fans.

TWICE will begin a large-scale world tour alongside the album release. They will hold the first performance of their new world tour 'THIS IS FOR' at Inspire Arena in Incheon Yeongjongdo on the 19th and 20th. On the 2nd of next month (local time), they are scheduled to perform as headliners at the large music festival 'Lollapalooza Chicago' in Chicago, USA.

Meanwhile, members Jeongyeon, Jihyo, and Chaeyoung are gaining attention for singing the original soundtrack (OST) 'TAKE DOWN' for the globally trending K-pop themed Netflix animated film <K-Pop Demon Hunters>. The three members stated, "We heard that this song is receiving a lot of love," and added, "Our song 'Strategy' also appears in the movie, and we hope it receives great love as well."
