ASTRO Yoon San-ha, "I will show any style like a chameleon"

Yoon San-ha of the group ASTRO has announced a colorful musical transformation through his second solo mini-album 'Chameleon' (CHAMELEON). He expressed his ambition to showcase a wide range of charms, from bright songs to sexy performances, by incorporating various colors into the new album.

Meeting Yoon San-ha at a cafe in Gangnam, Seoul, he stated, "Just as a chameleon changes its body color, each track has its own unique color," and confidently added, "I will naturally blend into any music style and show the appropriate appearance for it."

This album, set to be released on the 15th at 6 PM, includes a total of 5 tracks, including the title song 'Extra Virgin' (EXTRA VIRGIN), which combines country-style chords with hip-hop rhythms, and 'Bad Mosquito,' which expressively depicts a tense relationship.

Regarding the title track, Yoon San-ha explained, "It's a bright song that captures the feeling of the season, and I chose it because I wanted to try the hip-hop genre," adding, "As I get older, I feel that a bright vibe might not suit me well, so I included a 'hip-hop kid' image."

The fan song 'Love You Like Fools' is an R&B and pop track based on synthesizer sounds. Yoon San-ha participated in the lyrics writing, completing them in about two hours while thinking of his fans. He stated, "I wanted to express my gratitude to the fans and included a message to love unconditionally like fools in the future."

Debuting as the youngest member of ASTRO in 2016, Yoon San-ha is now in his 10th year. He expressed his desire to show various sides of himself while still in the process of finding his own color, transitioning between acting and performing on stage. Recently, he has also been balancing his acting career by appearing in the KBS drama 'My Girlfriend is a Grown Man,' which will premiere on the 23rd.

Yoon San-ha is active as both a singer and an actor, like his ASTRO colleague Cha Eun-woo. He mentioned that he is inspired by Cha Eun-woo's active engagements. "(Cha Eun-woo) hyung has less time than I do, yet he balances album preparation and acting," he said, adding, "Seeing him makes me feel that I need to work harder."

When Cha Eun-woo, who is about to enlist, encouraged him by saying, "I hope you can catch up a lot while I'm in the military," Yoon San-ha replied, "If I wait, I will soon enlist," and stated, "I plan to show my face more often and promote myself to catch up with him."

Yoon San-ha, who is growing through his activities as a singer and actor, expressed his desire to become an artist that remains in the memories of fans for a long time. His goal for this album activity is to earn the title of 'Trustworthy Yoon San-ha.'

He stated, "I want to give the impression that 'Yoon San-ha is someone who can truly express his feelings' when people listen to my songs," and expressed his ambition to be evaluated as someone who 'can be trusted and listened to' as a solo artist.
