The girl group TWICE has kicked off their new world tour. Their agency JYP Entertainment announced on the 21st that TWICE successfully launched their sixth world tour 'This Is For' (THIS IS FOR) at the Inspire Arena in Incheon, Yeongjongdo on the 19th and 20th.
In this tour, TWICE showcased a stage design that differentiates from previous concerts. All venues opened seating 360 degrees around a central stage, minimizing the distance to the audience.
The stage direction was also composed of three-dimensional and dynamic elements. The members utilized three main stages that spanned across the venue and a bridge stage connecting them, providing an immersive performance for the audience through various stage devices such as flying equipment and lifts moving above the venue.
The Incheon performances recorded sold-out shows on both days, proving TWICE's enduring popularity. Notably, the second day's performance on the 20th was live-streamed for a fee through the 'Beyond LIVE' platform, allowing fans who could not attend in person to watch the performance in real-time.
The concert opened with the new song 'This Is For', creating a powerful opening. It was followed by 'Strategy', featured in the much-talked-about movie 〈K-Pop Demon Hunters〉, which elevated the atmosphere of the venue. TWICE performed a series of hit songs including 'FANCY', 'What is Love?', 'YES or YES', and 'Dance The Night Away' with a live band, eliciting enthusiastic responses from the audience.

TWICE members stated, "We were excited to hold a solo concert in Korea after a long time," and added, "We stayed in Incheon for a week with the desire to do well, practicing day and night and meeting with the staff." They also explained, "We wanted to show a lot and made many unique attempts, preparing for an unprecedentedly long time to satisfy the audience in 360 degrees."
They continued, "Maybe that's why, from the start of the first stage, seeing the packed audience made me so happy that my legs felt weak," and shared, "Seeing 'ONCE' (the fandom name) enjoying themselves makes me proud, and I think I will never forget today."
Meanwhile, TWICE surprised everyone by announcing the release of their documentary film 〈TWICE: One in a Million〉 to celebrate their 10th anniversary during the concert.
TWICE is set to continue their performances in a total of 13 cities, including Osaka, Aichi, Fukuoka, and Tokyo in Japan, as well as Macau, Bulacan in the Philippines, Singapore, Sydney and Melbourne in Australia, Kaohsiung in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Bangkok in Thailand.
