Actor Jason Momoa delivered a message against single-use plastics as he removed his beard after 6 years.

On July 30, Momoa shared a video on Instagram showing him shaving off his beard. He reflected on his journey with the sustainable water company Mananalu and conveyed an environmental message.

He wrote in the caption, 'I haven't shaved in 6 years, and now this moment has come again.' He explained that he is helping to eliminate single-use plastics by launching Mananalu and is now introducing a closed-loop system for sanitizing and bottling water on-site through a partnership with the Boomerang Water team.

He added that this system allows for less waste, reduced transportation costs, and the repeated reuse of aluminum bottles. Momoa stated, 'This is the future, and it’s starting in Hawaii. Let’s eliminate single-use plastics for our kids and the planet.'

In the video, Momoa is seen using an electric razor to remove his beard and said, 'This is just the beginning. I want to let you know that Mananalu, supported by Boomerang, is working to make a change.'

His girlfriend, Edria Arjona, reacted with a heart emoji.

Momoa had previously shaved his beard in a YouTube video during the launch of his company in 2019. At that time, he said goodbye to bearded characters like Drogo from 'Game of Thrones', 'Aquaman', 'Frontier', and 'See'.

Recently, on July 18, Momoa attended the Apple TV+ premiere of 'Chief of War' in Hawaii with his son Nakoa Wolf (16 years old), daughter Lola (18 years old), and Arjona.
