Zack Snyder to Direct War Film 'The Last Photograph'

American filmmaker Zack Snyder is set to direct the long-awaited war film 〈The Last Photograph〉 (The Last Photograph). According to multiple English-speaking media outlets such as The Hollywood Reporter and Deadline, this project has been in Snyder's mind since the mid-2000s, and filming is expected to officially begin at the end of August in locations including Iceland, Colombia, and Los Angeles, continuing through November.

〈The Last Photograph〉 is a collaboration between director Snyder and screenwriter Kurt Johnstad, telling the epic drama of a former U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) agent who embarks on a quest to find a diplomatic family's tragic incident and his missing niece and nephew in the South American mountains. The film stars Stuart Martin and Pra Fei, who appeared in Snyder's recent work 〈Rebel Moon〉, with Snyder's long-time partner Deborah Snyder, Wesley Coller, and Gianni Nunnari (Hollywood Gang Productions) involved in production. It is also noteworthy that local crews from Europe and South America, including Mediaset España, have joined the project.

The music will feature world-renowned composers such as Hans Zimmer, Steven Dorr, and Omer Benjamin, promising a grand score in Snyder's style.
