Director Park Chan-wook's new film 'No Way Out' has confirmed its release in Korea on September 24 and has unveiled a powerful main trailer. This work is an official selection for the competition section of the 82nd Venice International Film Festival and the opening film of the 30th Busan International Film Festival, having garnered global attention.

'No Way Out' depicts the story of a company employee, Mansoo (Lee Byung-hun), who feels everything is perfect until he is suddenly fired, and he enters a reemployment battle to protect his wife, Miri (Son Ye-jin), and their two children, as well as the home he has worked hard to acquire. The realistic narrative of an ordinary man's downfall and struggle evokes deep empathy.

The released main trailer begins with Mansoo's anxious appearance at a job interview. Amidst the conversation of detectives reporting that applicants participating in the same interview have gone missing, Mansoo humorously quips, "I will contact you as soon as I disappear," adding irony to the tension. This hints at both black comedy elements and thriller-like suspense.

The trailer features the tagline 'Four people, one position' and intercuts the images of Mansoo's potential competitors, Beommo (Lee Sung-min), Sijo (Cha Seung-won), and Seonchul (Park Hee-soon). Miri and the children's determination to protect their family reveals an unwavering will in the face of extreme reality, signaling the beginning of the full-scale reemployment battle.

In particular, the intense physical confrontation scene involving Mansoo, Beommo, and the couple Ara (Yum Hye-ran) decorates the climax of the work. This is not just a competition but a fight for survival, expanding into a social drama where each person's position collides. It captivates the audience by raising questions about the fierce labor market and individual dignity.

The synergy of trusted actors such as Lee Byung-hun, Son Ye-jin, Lee Sung-min, Cha Seung-won, and Park Hee-soon, along with Director Park Chan-wook's directorial skills, is the greatest charm of 'No Way Out'. The solid direction, meticulous mise-en-scène, and black comedy sensibility combine to maximize the immersion in the theater. This work is expected to be evaluated as a film that contains deep insights into human nature and social structure, transcending simple drama.

'No Way Out' will be released on September 24 and meet the audience.
