The girl group ILLIT will officially enter the Japanese music market on the 1st. Their agency Belift Lab announced that ILLIT will release their first Japanese single 'Toki Yo Tomare' (時よ止まれ·Toki Yo Tomare) and begin their local debut on this day.
The title track of this single, which means 'Time, Stop', captures the moments of brilliant youth that one wishes would never end. It is produced in the disco pop genre characterized by a lively melody, with lyrics contributed by popular local Japanese musician Murasaki Ima.
On the release day, ILLIT will hold a debut showcase in Tokyo, Japan, where they will unveil the new song stage for the first time.
This single includes a total of 4 tracks, in addition to the title track 'Toki Yo Tomare'. It features the pre-released song 'Topping' and the Japanese version of the Korean activity song 'Borrowed Cat', as well as the first original Japanese song 'Almond Chocolate', showcasing a variety of musical colors.
