Global streaming service Netflix has introduced a new feature to enhance user convenience in utilizing content. The company announced on the 3rd (local time) that it has released an updated clip feature that allows users to save specific scenes from video content for a desired length on mobile devices.
This update is an expanded version of the 'Moment' feature introduced last year. While the previous feature could only save pre-set scenes, the new version allows users to adjust the start and end points of the clips themselves. Netflix explained, "Now you can create and save your favorite scenes as full clips, and watch and share them anytime you want."
The new clip feature is optimized for mobile environments. Users can select the 'Clip' button at the desired scene and freely adjust the end point. The saved clips are stored in the personal account and can be played back at any time.
Interestingly, Netflix revealed that the most saved scene through the 'Moment' feature so far is the moment when the protagonist group 'Saja Boys' from the animated film 〈K-Pop Demon Hunters〉 first appears singing their debut song 'Soda Pop'.
