Woozi, a member of the group Seventeen, enlisted in the army on the 15th to fulfill his duty to the nation.

His agency, Pledis Entertainment, announced that Woozi entered the training center and will serve as an active-duty soldier after receiving basic military training. Woozi became the third member of Seventeen to begin military service, following Jeonghan and Wonwoo.

On the day before his enlistment, the 14th, Woozi visited the Seventeen World Tour 'NEW_' concert held at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium. He watched the members' performances from the audience with his short hair.

After the concert, Woozi shared his thoughts through the fan communication platform Weverse. He said, "This was the first time I saw the members and Carats (the fandom) smiling at the music I created from outside the stage," and added, "I was quite happy about that."

He continued, "I will go in feeling empowered before entering (the army). I will return healthy," and greeted the fans.

Currently, Jeonghan and Wonwoo are serving in the military. Another member, Hoshi, is also set to enlist as an active-duty soldier on the 16th after Woozi.
