CORTIS, 430,000 Sales in First Week of Debut Album... Highest Record Among Rookie Groups This Year

Rookie boy group CORTIS is making headlines right from their debut. Their first mini-album 'COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES' recorded first-week sales of 436,367 copies according to the Hanteo chart, achieving the highest performance among rookie groups that debuted this year, as announced by Big Hit Music on the 15th.

Big Hit Music stated, "This is the 4th highest first-week sales for a debut album among K-pop groups of all time." They particularly noted, "Considering that there are no members from audition programs or those who have previously debuted, this is an astonishing achievement."

The music performance is also remarkable. The album's title track 'What You Want' topped the 'Daily Viral Songs Global' chart on Spotify for 7 consecutive days. The track 'GO!' also recorded 1st place on the same chart for 3 consecutive days.

They are also showing strength on domestic music charts. On the Korean Apple Music 'Top 100 Today' chart, three songs including 'What You Want', 'GO!', and 'FaSHioN' entered the top 10 simultaneously.

CORTIS is a rookie boy group introduced by Big Hit Music, the agency of BTS, after 6 years since Tomorrow X Together (TXT), and has garnered attention from the industry even before their debut.
