Following the Success of 'Jujutsu Kaisen', 'Jujutsu Kaisen: Hidden Inventory / Premature Death - The Movie' Tops Korean Box Office on Opening Day

The relay of number one spots in Japanese animation has been taken over by 'Jujutsu Kaisen'.

According to the integrated computer network for movie ticket sales on October 18, the daily box office number one on October 17 was 〈Jujutsu Kaisen: Hidden Inventory / Premature Death〉 (hereafter 〈Jujutsu Kaisen〉). The film, which opened on this day, attracted 32,366 viewers, achieving a cumulative audience of 44,092.

〈Jujutsu Kaisen〉 is currently referred to as 'Demon Slayer-Jujutsu Kaisen-Chainsaw Man' along with 〈Demon Slayer〉 and 〈Chainsaw Man〉, and is a popular theatrical animation of 〈Jujutsu Kaisen〉 in Korea. It depicts the events that unfold as the strongest duo in the story, Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto, are assigned to protect a certain character. It contains the 'Hidden Inventory / Premature Death' part from the TV animation based on the same-name manga 〈Jujutsu Kaisen〉.

With 〈Jujutsu Kaisen〉 achieving the number one spot at the box office on its opening day, it set a record for all theatrical releases in the 'Demon Slayer-Jujutsu Kaisen-Chainsaw Man' series to top the Korean box office. 〈Jujutsu Kaisen〉 will then present the first episode of the 'Shibuya Incident' part of the TV animation and the upcoming season 3 'Premature Death' in December with 〈Jujutsu Kaisen: Shibuya Incident x Premature Death〉.
