Jisuk Jin Reveals His Home in Jamwon-dong, Which Has Increased by 1.6 Billion Won Over 8 Years... "Neat and Very Nice"

Broadcaster Jisuk Jin has attracted attention by revealing his home in Jamwon-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, on his YouTube channel, sharing a dramatic story of price increase over the past 8 years.

On the 28th, a video was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Jipyeonhan Sesang', featuring guests Lee Sang-yeob and Lee Mi-joo, showcasing a neatly decorated home in white tones. The guests were impressed by the luxurious atmosphere, but Jisuk Jin candidly shared his feelings about the Han River view. He said, "The real estate teacher said there would be a view of the Han River. But no matter how I look, all I see are apartments," and added, "The Han River is visible over there, but you can only see it if you sit on the sofa with a rearview mirror attached," which drew laughter.

Increase of 1.6 Billion Won in 8 Years

According to the property registration, Jisuk Jin purchased a 'Lotte Castle Galaxy 1st Phase' 52-pyeong apartment in Jamwon-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, in September 2016 for 1.35 billion won in joint ownership with his wife.

The 52-pyeong unit was confirmed to have been traded for 2.985 billion won on June 29, 2025, allowing Jisuk Jin to expect a capital gain of approximately 1.635 billion won after 8 years. The Lotte Castle Galaxy is currently undergoing remodeling, and future prices are expected to rise further.

Bitter Reflection on Opportunity Cost

However, Jisuk Jin also reminisced bitterly about missing out on real estate investment opportunities in past broadcasts. He revealed that he lost the chance to purchase an apartment in Yongsan on 'Running Man', resulting in missing out on a capital gain of more than 7 times per pyeong. Additionally, actor Lee Kwang-soo shared a story about trying to find a house in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu, but canceled due to Jisuk Jin's advice, bringing laughter.

Jisuk Jin married Ryu Su-jeong, a non-celebrity stylist, in 1999, and they have a son together, currently residing in Jamwon-dong with his family.
