It has been revealed that singer Sung Si-kyung has suffered financial damage from a manager he has worked with for a long time, causing disappointment.

Sung Si-kyung's agency, SK Jae-won, stated in an official position on the 3rd, "It has been confirmed that Sung Si-kyung's former manager committed acts that betrayed the trust with the company during his tenure." The agency added that they are currently assessing the exact extent of the damage and that the manager has already been processed for resignation.

SK Jae-won expressed that they feel a strong sense of responsibility for management oversight regarding this incident and plan to reorganize their internal management system to prevent similar cases from recurring.

An agency representative explained, "Sung Si-kyung has suffered financial losses due to the inappropriate actions of the manager," and added, "The manager has been responsible for various activities such as performances, events, broadcasts, and advertisements alongside Sung Si-kyung for over 10 years." However, they did not disclose how the manager caused the financial damage.

On the same day, Sung Si-kyung confessed his feelings through his Instagram. He stated, "The past few months have been a truly painful and unbearable time," and expressed, "Experiencing a betrayal of trust from someone I believed in and considered family is not something new in my 25 years since debut, but it has not been easy even at this age."

In particular, Sung Si-kyung mentioned that he is also contemplating whether to hold the year-end concert that he has held every year. He said, "In this situation, I am questioning whether I can stand on stage or if I should," and expressed his determination to do his best to get through this well.
