The official trailer for Season 2 of the popular Prime Video series 'Fallout' was released on November 13, raising fans' expectations. This season, premiering on December 17, captures the journey through the wasteland to New Vegas.
The ghoul played by Walton Goggins and Lucy played by Ella Purnell started as enemies in Season 1, but in Season 2, they develop an unexpected partnership. In the trailer, Lucy says, "We actually started getting along well," hinting at the change between the two characters.
In particular, the ghoul reveals that the reason he has survived wandering the wasteland for 200 years is to find his family. The trailer also includes flashbacks depicting his life before the war. A foreboding voice warns, "Then you will need a friend. The war is coming."
Walton Goggins praised in a recent interview, "I thought Season 1 was special, but this season far surpasses that," adding, "What the writers and production team have accomplished is truly amazing." He further stated, "The story reaches a magical level."
Season 2 features Kumail Nanjiani and Macaulay Culkin joining the cast, and it deals with the backdrop of Bethesda Game Studios' popular game 'Fallout: New Vegas'. The series is set 200 years after a nuclear war, depicting the story of vault dwellers returning to the wasteland.
Season 1 was nominated for several Emmy Awards and received acclaim from both critics and audiences. Prime Video has already shown strong confidence in the series by confirming the production of Season 3.
