Activist and author Monica Lewinsky drew attention on November 11 by having a conversation with actress Sarah Paulson on her podcast. Paulson played the role of Linda Tripp in the 2021 FX series 'American Crime Story: Impeachment', a project in which Lewinsky was involved as a producer.

Paulson stated, "I had to immerse myself in the internal motivations that drove Linda Tripp's choices," adding, "I could understand the desire to be seen and recognized, the attempts to make oneself seem more important than they are." She mentioned that she tried to empathize with the character even while portraying someone she morally disagreed with.

Lewinsky is set to launch her new podcast 'Reclaiming with Monica Lewinsky' in February 2025. This podcast will feature guest interviews about personal journeys of adversity and recovery. In a March episode, Lewinsky revealed that it took her 20 years to recover from public shame.

Lewinsky gained international attention during her time as a White House intern in the late 1990s due to her scandal with former President Bill Clinton. Since then, she has been active as an anti-cyberbullying advocate, raising awareness about the dangers of public shaming.

Since 2014, she has addressed issues of online harassment and public humiliation through TED talks and various interviews. In 2021, she produced the HBO documentary '15 Minutes of Shame', highlighting the culture of public shaming in the social media age.

As of 2025, Lewinsky has signed a first-look deal with 20th Television through her production company, Alt Ending Productions. She continues to connect her experiences to the recovery stories of others through her podcast and production work.
