Sangyoung ENT stated, "As soon as we became aware of the incident on the 3rd, we submitted a lawsuit and completed the investigation of the complainant's statements." They added, "We have secured the identity of the accused, and it is expected to take some time for the investigation to conclude through the investigative agency."

Lee Lee-kyung has currently filed a lawsuit against the author of the post for threat and defamation charges regarding the dissemination of false information.
