Japanese Girl Group 'Fruits Zipper' to Hold First Solo Concert in Korea on the 29th

The popular 7-member girl group Fruits Zipper will hold their first solo concert in Korea on November 29, meeting with domestic fans. Their agency, ASOBISYSTEM, announced on the 19th that Fruits Zipper will perform in Seoul at the Gwangwoon University Donghae Culture and Arts Center as part of their Asia tour 'We are FRUITS ZIPPER'.

Fruits Zipper is a 7-member group consisting of Tsukiyashi Amane, Chinjai Suzuka, Sakurai Yui, Nakagawa Luna, Manaka Mana, Matsumoto Karen, and Hayase Noel. They debuted in April 2022 under the slogan 'From Harajuku to the World' and quickly gained popularity among Japan's youth.

In particular, their second digital single released shortly after debut, 'My Most Adorable Point', surpassed 3 billion views on the short-form platform TikTok, achieving explosive popularity. The music video also recorded over 66 million views, establishing them as a 'pop culture icon' loved by the Z-generation.

Unprecedented Rapid Growth for a Rookie Group

Fruits Zipper's growth is remarkable even in Japan. They successfully held a solo concert at the iconic venue Tokyo Budokan just over a year after their debut in May last year, proving their rapid growth.

Their activities will continue until the end of the year. Fruits Zipper will make their first appearance on NHK's prestigious year-end music special program 'Kohaku Uta Gassen' on the 31st of next month. Appearing on 'Kohaku Uta Gassen' is regarded as an indicator of an artist's public recognition and influence.

Additionally, the members are set to perform at the Tokyo Dome stage in February next year. The Tokyo Dome is known as a 'dream venue' where only top-tier Japanese artists can perform, marking a key milestone in Fruits Zipper's rapid growth.
