Final Battle with Vecna, Release Schedule for Three Parts

Season 5 is set in the fall of 1987 and depicts the long-awaited final battle with Vecna. Hawkins has been devastated by the rift opened at the end of Season 4, and the government has imposed military quarantine on the town, forcing Eleven to go into hiding once again.

The first volume consists of four episodes and will be released simultaneously worldwide at 5 PM (PST) on November 26.

The Duffer Brothers have teased that "the first episode will be the most eventful in the entire series, and the second episode will have the craziest opening." It was also revealed that Mike Wheeler returns as a more mature and confident leader than in Season 1.

Final Finale, Theatrical Screening Decision

The series finale that will conclude the series will also be screened in theaters. From 5 PM on December 31, it will be limited to screenings in over 350 theaters in the United States and Canada until January 1, coinciding with its release on Netflix.

The Duffer Brothers stated, "We are excited to be able to experience it with fans on the big screen with amazing sound and visuals."

Season 5 will resolve all the mysteries, including Vecna's fate, Max's recovery, and the truth about the Upside Down, concluding the series. This series, which began in 2016, has created a global phenomenon with its perfect combination of 1980s nostalgia and sci-fi horror.
