Star of the 'American Pie' series Tara Reid revealed in an interview with TMZ on November 24 (local time) that she experienced an incident at a Chicago hotel bar where drugs were suspected to have been put in her drink, shocking many. The 49-year-old actress expressed that she was fortunate not to have been raped.
Rapid Deterioration After a Glass of Wine
Reid claimed that she only had one glass of wine at the hotel bar around 10:30 PM on the night of the incident. However, about 90 minutes later, around midnight, she was seen being wheeled through the hotel lobby in a wheelchair, and at around 1 AM, she was captured being transported by stretcher to an ambulance.
After waking up 8 hours later in the hospital, she was informed by medical staff that she had been drugged.
Reid stated, "The explanation I received at the hospital was very vague," adding, "I didn't ask what kind of drug it was." She acknowledged having past substance abuse issues but emphasized that she had only consumed one glass of wine this time.
Witnesses at the hotel reported that Reid appeared fine at the bar, but her condition rapidly deteriorated after she left the bar and came into the lobby.

Considering Reporting to Police and Investigating the Incident
Reid mentioned that there were YouTubers filming at the hotel at the time and that she is considering reporting the incident to the police to investigate.
