Erika Kirk, Widow of Charlie Kirk, Confesses, "I Prayed Desperately to Be Pregnant When My Husband Died"

Charlie Kirk's widow Erika Kirk revealed in an interview with Megyn Kelly on November 21 that she desperately wished to be pregnant when her husband died, drawing significant attention. This interview was conducted as part of the final schedule of The Megyn Kelly Show's tour in Glendale, Arizona, and was released on November 23.

"Having a Child Is Irreversible, Don't Delay"

Erika, the CEO of Turning Point USA, became emotional when Megyn Kelly asked her about her two children, saying, "How many children did you want?" She tearfully confessed, "I wanted four. I prayed to God to be pregnant when my husband was murdered. It would have been the ultimate blessing to come out of this disaster."

Erika shared heartfelt advice for young couples. "Don't delay. Especially if you are a young woman, don't delay. You can always have a career and go back to work, but having a child is irreversible", she emphasized.

She recalled her hopes with her late husband, saying, "Children grow up so fast. We both prayed. We were really looking forward to expanding our family."

The Murder of Charlie Kirk and the Spread of Rumors

Charlie Kirk was shot and killed while speaking to students on the campus of Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, on September 2025, where he was active as the founder of Turning Point USA and a conservative activist. Police charged 22-year-old Tyler Robinson with the murder of Kirk.

In the interview, Megyn Kelly comforted Erika, saying, "I am grateful to have two children," and added, "One day they will know they are Charlie Kirk's children, and they will understand what that means," which received applause from the audience.

Meanwhile, rumors spread on social media that Erika Kirk was pregnant with a third child, but fact-checking organizations, including Snopes, confirmed this as false information using AI-generated images and text. Erika has never officially confirmed her pregnancy since her husband's death.
