The biggest digital event of the year that over 600 million users worldwide are waiting for, 'Spotify Wrapped 2025', is about to be unveiled.

Historically, Spotify has released Wrapped primarily between late November and early December, especially on 'Wednesdays'. In 2024, it was released on December 4th (Wednesday), in 2023 on November 29th (Wednesday), and in 2022 on November 30th (Wednesday). The biggest change for the 2025 Wrapped is the 'extension of the data aggregation period'. Until now, Spotify has only reflected listening records from January 1st to October 31st due to data processing time. This has led to user complaints that songs or carols popular in November and December were excluded from the year-end summary.
Starting this year, the aggregation deadline will be extended to the end of November. Molly Holder, Senior Director of Personalization at Spotify, explained the change by stating, "The goal is to capture as much of the year as possible to fully reflect the user's year."
