〈Master and Margarita〉 is a sensory fantasy that depicts a master writing a work featuring the devil Woland alongside his muse Margarita under Soviet censorship, adapted from Mikhail Bulgakov's novel of the same name. The novel was produced as a TV drama, achieving a 50% viewership rating in Russia and becoming a national drama.
The film 〈Master and Margarita〉 will be released in South Korea on December 10. The main trailer and poster released ahead of the premiere offer a glimpse into the atmosphere of the work, where the precariousness of reality and a dreamlike world intertwine. In particular, moments when the devil Woland's presence touches reality create tension.
