America's top pop star Sabrina Carpenter (26) fiercely criticized the White House for using her song without permission, calling it "evil and disgusting."

On the 2nd (local time), Carpenter directly commented on a video posted on the official White House X (formerly Twitter) account, saying, "This video is evil and disgusting. Do not ever use my music or me to promote your inhumane agenda," she strongly warned.

The controversial video depicts a scene of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) cracking down on illegal immigrants. Behind the oppressive images of armed agents suppressing protesters and arresting suspects, Carpenter's hit song 'Juno' was used as background music.

The White House immediately refuted the claims. According to foreign media such as CNN, White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson sarcastically quoted Carpenter's album title 'Short n' Sweet', saying, "Our position is 'short and sweet.'"

Jackson stated, "We will never apologize for deporting dangerous criminals, illegal immigrants, murderers, rapists, and pedophiles from our country. Isn't anyone who defends these sick monsters foolish?" and made it clear that there is no intention to take down the video. Currently, the video remains posted on social media platforms like X and TikTok.

This is not the first time the Trump administration has been involved in a 'copyright war' with pop stars. The White House has used songs from various pop stars without the consent of copyright holders when producing promotional videos for social media, and Taylor Swift's song was used in a promotional video for President Donald Trump's achievements.

Over the past few years, many prominent artists, including Beyoncé, Celine Dion, Foo Fighters, and Bruce Springsteen, have raised strong objections, including legal action, against the unauthorized use of their music in Trump’s campaign and political activities.
