The 'Queen of Cannes' Jeon Do-yeon gave generous praise for her junior Kim Go-eun's growth. The two actresses, who reunited after 10 years through the Netflix series 'The Price of Confession', hinted at their deep trust in each other and a bold acting transformation.

At the production presentation of 'The Price of Confession' held on the 3rd at CGV Yongsan I-Park Mall in Seoul, director Lee Jung-hyo and lead actors Jeon Do-yeon, Kim Go-eun, and Park Hae-soo shared stories about the work.

◆ 10 Years of Time, Changed Atmosphere

The meeting of the two took place 10 years after the movie 'The Lady: The Memory of the Sword' in 2015. They met as a blind swordsman (Jeon Do-yeon) and a child dreaming of revenge (Kim Go-eun), but now they face each other again in a delicate relationship as a murder suspect and an accomplice.

Jeon Do-yeon confessed, "Kim Go-eun has grown so much that I wondered if I was the only one standing still," admitting that she was inspired by her junior's energy.

In response, Kim Go-eun said, "During 'The Lady', I received one-sided help to the point of calling my senior late at night to complain," and added, "This time, I approached the work hoping that my senior would feel secure with me," warming the atmosphere on set.

The highlight of this work is undoubtedly the bold visual transformations of the two actresses.

Kim Go-eun underwent a dramatic hairstyle close to a shaved head to play the mysterious woman 'Mo-eun'. She explained, "Mo-eun should be a character whose thoughts are unknown even though her face is fully exposed without hiding behind her hair," adding, "I acted thinking that there are countless expressions within her blank face."

On the other hand, Jeon Do-yeon attempted a hippie perm and tattoos for her role as 'Yoon-soo', who is wrongfully accused. Jeon Do-yeon analyzed, "Yoon-soo appears free-spirited on the outside, but internally, she has a strong desire and deficiency to build a complete family."

Director Lee Jung-hyo, known for romance dramas like 'Crash Landing on You' and 'Iduna!', expressed, "I constantly thought about how to maintain tension" regarding his first thriller direction, and asked viewers to watch while guessing who the real culprit is until the last twist.

The story of a woman accused of murdering her husband and a witch who proposes a dangerous deal to her, 'The Price of Confession' will be released worldwide on December 5th (Friday) at 5 PM through Netflix.
