The colorful world of the three-year-old girl ‘Amélie’ is depicted in 〈Little Amélie〉, which is set to be released on January 14, 2026, and has unveiled a second poster and trailer that showcase overwhelming visuals that awaken all senses.
〈Little Amélie〉 is a vibrant animation that portrays the moments of the quirky girl ‘Amélie’, who believed herself to be a ‘god’ since birth, as she faces the four seasons of the world and grows up. It has been officially invited to the Special Screenings section of the 78th Cannes Film Festival, and has won the Audience Award in the Feature Film category at the 49th Annecy International Animation Film Festival and the Animation Award at the 51st LA Critics Association Awards.
The released second poster captures the protagonist ‘Amélie’ lying in nature reminiscent of spring, stimulating curiosity. The blooming flowers and pink scenery around her hint at the film's narrative of how the girl ‘Amélie’, who considered herself a god and was indifferent to the world, grows based on the diverse aspects of the four seasons, raising expectations for a unique coming-of-age story depicted in vibrant visuals. Additionally, the phrase “a fantasy about the first memories everyone has passed through” foreshadows the story of ‘Amélie’ as she faces various emotions such as love, friendship, and separation, making audiences look forward to a film that will evoke memories of childhood and each person's own ‘first’ experiences.
