The 'Oscars of Gaming' that will keep gamers around the world awake is just a day away. Will we finally see the logo for 'Half-Life 3' this year?
The 'The Game Awards 2025' will take place on the 11th (local time) at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, starting with a pre-show at 9:30 AM on the 12th Korean time. This is the 12th show hosted by Geoff Keighley.
◆ 'Clair Obscur' Dominates, and the Indie Uprising
The star of this year's awards is undoubtedly Sandfall Interactive's 'Clair Obscur: Expedition 33'. This work has set an unprecedented record by being nominated in a staggering 12 categories.
Additionally, this year marks the first time in TGA history that half of the nominees for 'Game of the Year (GOTY)' are indie games. It will be interesting to see what results the uprising of indie games, armed with creativity against the capital-rich AAA games, will bring.

◆ The Secrets of 'Half-Life 3' and the Mojave Desert
The world premiere lineup is also impressive. New titles such as 'Death Stranding 2: On the Beach', 'Ghost of Yotei', 'Resident Evil: Requiem', and a new 'Tomb Raider' will be revealed.
The hottest topic is the possibility of Valve's 'Half-Life 3' being announced. Recently, a mysterious statue installed in the Mojave Desert has sparked rumors that it is a teaser related to this awards ceremony, igniting fans' excitement.
◆ A Different Viewing Experience... '2K' Streaming
This year's TGA has significantly upgraded the viewing environment. Amazon Prime Video has joined as an official partner, and for the first time in Twitch broadcasting history, 2K (1440p) resolution streaming will be supported. Free viewing will also be available on various platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, and Chijijik.
As a celebratory performance, the rock band Evanescence will perform the OST 'Afterlife' from the Netflix animation 'Devil May Cry' live, and cast members from 'Fallout' Season 2, along with Todd Howard and Jeffrey Wright, will take the stage as presenters.
