21st century pop icon BTS has announced an unprecedented global comeback in collaboration with Netflix. Netflix and HYBE officially announced that they will exclusively live stream 〈BTS Comeback Live: ARIRANG〉 from Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul on March 21 at 8 PM, reaching over 190 countries worldwide.

This performance is planned to celebrate the release of BTS's fifth studio album ‘ARIRANG’, which deeply reflects on the group's identity and roots. All members, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, will participate in full to debut new songs, and the historic backdrop of Gwanghwamun Square in the heart of Seoul has garnered immense attention from fans around the world.

The excitement of the performance will continue with a Netflix original feature-length documentary. Scheduled for release on March 27, 〈BTS: The Return〉 closely highlights BTS's journey as they reunite through music after a 3-year and 9-month hiatus.

Directed by Bao Nguyen, who created the most magnificent night in pop history, this documentary vividly captures the process of the members reuniting in Los Angeles to work on new songs. Viewers will witness the touching moments as they answer the fundamental question of 'how to move forward without being bound by the past' while creating new music after experiencing a hiatus and personal changes.

A new horizon for Netflix live programming… First global broadcast from Korea

This live stream holds great significance as it is Netflix's first live event broadcast from Korea to the world. Previously, Netflix has showcased major sports and live events such as WWE Raw and NFL Christmas Game Day, and through BTS's comeback stage, it has officially expanded the realm of live streaming services into the global music market.

Following the comeback live, BTS will embark on a large-scale world tour ‘BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ (2026-2027)’, which will take place in 34 regions worldwide with 82 performances, once again igniting the ‘BTS syndrome’.
