With a box office revenue of $2.2 billion (approximately 3.1939 trillion won), the Chinese animation 〈Nuzha 2〉 has confirmed its release in Korea on the 25th, making it the highest-grossing animation of all time worldwide.

This work is a fantasy action animation that depicts the story of the protagonist Nuzha, who possesses extraordinary looks with a powerful physique and panda-like eyes, getting caught up in a battle between monsters and humans.

The imaginative depiction of monster characters inspired by various animals and the fresh world captivates audiences with a scale unseen in other animations.

The passion of the production team is also remarkable. Over 4,000 staff from 138 animation studios have worked on it for five years, and it is reported that a total budget of $80 million (approximately 116.1 billion won) has been invested.

In particular, the war scene in the latter half features a total of 200 million characters, which took a year and a half to create.

The humans and monsters fighting across the sea, sky, and fire pits are so numerous that they resemble swarms of locusts, and they are even described as smoke or clouds.

The previous work, 〈Nuzha〉 (Nataji Madong Gangse·2019), was not released in Korea, but its simple story structure allows audiences who have not seen the previous work to easily understand it. The unique characters, where good and evil are not easily distinguishable, are also highlighted as points of interest.

The Korean dubbing features actors Jung Ji-so, Jo Byeong-kyu, Son Hyun-joo, and Lee Pil-mo.
