Choi Woo-shik revealed that he felt choked up after seeing the ending credits of 〈Number One〉.
Choi Woo-shik, the actor of 〈Number One〉, which will be released on February 11, met with Cineplay for a commemorative interview on the afternoon of the 3rd in Jongno-gu. The film 〈Number One〉 tells the story of 'Ha-min (Choi Woo-shik)', who begins to see a number decreasing every time he eats his mother's food, and learns that when the number reaches 0, his mother 'Eun-sil (Jang Hye-jin)' will die, leading him to try to protect her.
The ending credits of 〈Number One〉 include photos and videos of the parents of the actors and staff eating together. During the interview, actor Choi Woo-shik said, "When the ending credits rolled, my eyes turned red. My mother's photo was included, and it felt strange. I think this is the first and last time in my life that I will be on screen with my mom. I feel like I received a big gift."
Choi Woo-shik mentioned his change in thoughts after filming 〈Number One〉, saying, "When I was young, I always lived with worries like those in 〈Number One〉. Since my parents are older than my peers, I thought that when I reach my thirties, my parents would be in their 70s or 80s. However, at some point, I got so caught up in work that I forgot those questions. There isn't much time left to spend with my parents, and I thought I should pay a little more attention. I felt that I should leave memories not just in photos, but also in videos."
The film 〈Number One〉 will be released on February 11.
