Actor Choi Woo-shik mentioned his strengths as an actor.

Choi Woo-shik, the actor from the upcoming film 〈Number One〉, met with Cineplay for a release commemorative interview on the afternoon of the 3rd in Jongno-gu. The film 〈Number One〉 tells the story of 'Ha-min (Choi Woo-shik)', who starts to see a number decreasing every time he eats his mother's food, and learns that when the number reaches 0, his mother 'Eun-sil (Jang Hye-jin)' will die, leading him to try to protect her.

〈Number One〉 is a work that reunites director Kim Tae-yong from 〈Giant〉 (2014) and actor Choi Woo-shik after about 12 years. From the character Jae-young in 〈Giant〉, to Ki-woo in 〈Parasite〉, and now Ha-min in 〈Number One〉, the faces of 'Choi Woo-shik's youth' are varied. Choi Woo-shik reflected on his perceived strength, saying, "It seems that I definitely have a face that isn't uncomfortable. Just like senior Jang Hye-jin said I resemble her son, I think I have a lot in common with the people around me." He also added, "I have filmed many movies and dramas where the protagonist grows. Just like Director Bong Joon-ho chose me for 〈Parasite〉 after seeing the struggles of the genius in 〈Giant〉, fortunately, it seems that people like that side of me. I was also able to grow alongside the character."

The film 〈Number One〉 will be released on February 11.
