Lee Jae-won Joins the Drama '21st Century Great Lady'... Chemistry with IU as 'Real Siblings'

Actor Lee Jae-won will meet viewers as IU's older brother.

Lee Jae-won has joined the drama 〈21st Century Great Lady〉 as Seong Tae-joo, the half-brother of Seong Hee-joo (IU) and the eldest son of Castle Group. 〈21st Century Great Lady〉 depicts a romance that breaks social class boundaries, featuring a wealthy heir who has everything but is frustrated by being a commoner, and a sad man who is a king's son but can possess nothing. IU plays the role of the wealthy commoner Seong Hee-joo, while Byun Woo-seok plays the prince Lee An-dae-gun, drawing attention.

In the drama, Lee Jae-won's character Seong Tae-joo is a 'wife fool' and a romantic who marries Da-young (Chae Seo-an), a noblewoman, after a passionate romance. However, he will showcase the typical 'real siblings' dynamic as he constantly clashes with his younger sister Hee-joo over the heir position, injecting vitality into the story.

In particular, this project is highly anticipated as it marks the reunion of Lee Jae-won and Byun Woo-seok after the drama 〈Youth Record〉. There is great interest in what kind of synergy the two, who proved their unique chemistry in their previous work, will create this time.
