Director Paul Feig, who directed the movie 〈Housemaid〉, has sparked interest by revealing the virtual casting lineup for the Korean version.

On the 5th, Director Paul Feig released an 'Ask Anything' video through the distributor, answering questions from Korean audiences. He stated, "My wife is a huge fan of Korean dramas, so we came up with an interesting list for the virtual casting of the Korean remake version." He mentioned IU, Kim Yoo-jung, and Suzy for the lead role of Millie, and Son Ye-jin for Nina, Hyun Bin for Andrew, and Seo In-guk for Enzo, proving his high interest in Korean content.

He also spoke about the film's ending, which differs from the original novel. He explained, "The ending of the original is satisfying as a novel, but I felt the cinematic completeness is different. We created an ending that organizes all the characters' stories well, which might surprise even audiences familiar with the original."

〈Housemaid〉 is a high-stakes thriller that depicts the story of a suspicious housemaid, Millie (Sydney Sweeney), who works in a perfect mansion while hiding her past and gets entangled with a couple who has their own secrets. It is currently showing in Korean theaters.
