A documentary that allows us to look back on the past of master Hayao Miyazaki will land in Korean theaters in April.
The documentary 〈How Will You Live, Hayao Miyazaki〉 capturing the figure of Hayao Miyazaki, the symbol of Studio Ghibli and a master of Japanese animation, has confirmed its release in Korea on April 15. 〈How Will You Live, Hayao Miyazaki〉 is a documentary that chronicles the seven years during which Miyazaki reversed his retirement and completed 〈How Will You Live〉. Director Kaku Arakawa closely followed Hayao Miyazaki for seven years to complete this work, which was invited to the 77th 'Cannes Classics' section.
The poster released alongside the announcement of the release date features director Hayao Miyazaki standing against a blue sky. His upright figure hints at his passion and anguish as he returns to directing animation. The English typography created by his lifelong partner producer Toshio Suzuki adds a deeper meaning.
