Set to premiere on April 13, 〈Yumi's Cells Season 3〉 presented the ‘Sungrok On-Off Teaser Video’ on the 17th, revealing the secret double life of the PD in charge of Yumi (played by Kim Go-eun).

In the video, Sungrok is a competent and rational PD at Julie Literature's editorial department, living in a ‘low-power mode’ with just one battery bar outside. Despite Yumi's friendly small talk, he consistently responds with short answers like “That’s true” to conserve energy, but the moment he opens the front door, he transforms 180 degrees. Inside the house, he is a ‘definite homebody’ who eats dumplings and cheers for baseball broadcasts, creating a bright and lively atmosphere in his cell village, contrasting with his demeanor outside.

Although Sungrok referred to himself as a homebody, changes begin to occur in his cell village after meeting Yumi. He starts to maintain a ‘fully charged’ battery state even outside and shows a proactive attitude towards Yumi.

He extends a hand first, saying, “Feel free to contact me anytime if it doesn’t go well,” and when Yumi expresses that she won’t be a bother, Sungrok quietly replies, “It’s not bothersome, you know?” raising the heart rates of viewers. The once dull daily lives of the two are expected to transform into vibrant colors through each other, and anticipation builds for their unpredictable age-gap romance.

The story of Yumi, who has become a star writer, and the charmingly surprising PD Sungrok in 〈Yumi's Cells Season 3〉 is once again brought to life by director Lee Sang-yeob and writers Song Jae-jung and Kim Kyung-ran. As this series returns after three years, deeper empathy and the new activities of the cells are anticipated.

The work will be exclusively pre-released with two episodes every Monday at 6 PM starting April 13 (Monday), and will also be broadcast on tvN every Monday and Tuesday at 8:50 PM.
