Hirokazu Kore-eda’s new film 〈Sheep in the Box〉, invited by the Cannes Film Festival, has confirmed its release in theaters on June 10.

〈Sheep in the Box〉 is Kore-eda Hirokazu’s latest work, following 〈Nobody Knows〉, 〈Shoplifters〉, and 〈Monster〉, among others. Set in a near future, the film tells the story that unfolds as a family welcomes a humanoid that bears an uncanny resemblance to their late son. Invited to the Cannes Film Festival’s international competition this year, 〈Sheep in the Box〉 has since also confirmed its release in South Korea on June 10.
