Content production company Tokkom Media is set to launch its dedicated platform, ‘K-Short,’ on May 1 to tap into the rapidly growing short-form drama market. With short-form content such as TikTok and YouTube Shorts already becoming mainstream, the company aims to build a new distribution channel for K-content through short dramas centered on storytelling.
■ Lineup of 46 Works Including Originals… Global Push with 13 Languages Supported
K-Short, unveiled on May 1, will present a rich content lineup from launch day. In particular, a total of seven in-house production titles will be released, including the much-anticipated original work ‘Cinderella Shaman.’ In addition, a total of 46 works have been added to the service catalog.
With expanding into global markets as its top priority, the service environment is also being built in a structured way. The platform will be available in a total of 13 languages, including Korean, English, Japanese, and Spanish, with plans to simultaneously reach users worldwide in North America, Europe, and South America.

Tokkom Media highlighted artificial intelligence (AI) technology as the key competitive advantage of this platform launch. By optimizing processes from script composition to production and translation, the company plans to maximize production efficiency and deliver high-quality content quickly to a short-drama market that is highly sensitive to trends.
A Tokkom Media spokesperson said, “Through K-Short, we will present a new distribution model for K-content with global competitiveness,” adding, “We will take a leap forward as a global leader in the short-drama market through continuous technology investment and securing original IP.”
