Korea’s most beloved Danish-born pop star 'Christopher' targets the season’s mood once again in Seoul. Performance planning company 'Private Curve' officially announced that he will make an immediate appearance on the 'SJFAtTheTheater' stage at the 'Sejong Center for the Performing Arts (Main Hall)' in Seoul on Nov. 19 and 20. The booking marks a meaningful meeting between a festival brand and the fans’ idol—made possible 9 years after he appeared at the 'Seoul Jazz Festival' in 2017—and is already fueling explosive anticipation.

He built his musical footing after debuting in 2012 with an album that quickly topped Denmark’s chart at No. 4. Beyond being a simple pop star, he is also regarded as an artist who shares deep rapport with the domestic public. After showcasing his friendly charm through the 2019 tvN variety show 'No Boundaries Pocha', he continued to prove his solid presence in the Korean market by chaining hits: the 2020 captivating duet track 'Bad Boy' with 'Chungha' and 'Trouble' with 'Lee Young-ji' in 2024.

'SJFAtTheTheater', where his appearance has now been confirmed, is a new live platform that has expanded the reputation of the 'Seoul Jazz Festival'—a festival brand that has traditionally symbolized spring—into the autumn season in a carefully structured way. In this year’s kickoff, which signals the festival’s first sailing, 'Christopher' is joined not only by 'Kings of Convenience', a byword for wistful folk pop, but also by top-tier musicians across genres, including the world-renowned jazz maestro 'Diana Krall'.
