KATSEYE to Make Headlining Debut at Lollapalooza India, Performing Jan. 24 in Member Lara’s Home Country

HYBE girl group, fresh off a string of major global festival appearances, set to take the stage in Mumbai

KATSEYE, the global girl group formed by HYBE and Geffen Records, will headline Lollapalooza India 2027, a major music festival taking place Jan. 23-24 next year (local time) at Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi Racecourse. The group will close out the festival’s second day, Jan. 24, HYBE and Geffen Records announced on the 28th.

The performance is especially significant as KATSEYE’s first concert in India. Lara, an Indian American member of the group, will perform alongside global artists in the country where her cultural roots lie. Also named as headliners for the festival are top-tier musicians including the legendary American rock band Limp Bizkit and acclaimed British singer-songwriter Olivia Dean.

Launched in Chicago in 1991, Lollapalooza has expanded to cities around the world, including in South America, Europe and Asia, and is one of the world’s most prestigious music festivals. KATSEYE has already cemented its status as a rising global star, performing at the festival in its home country, the United States, last year and at editions in Argentina, Chile, Brazil and elsewhere in South America this year. The group’s selection for the India lineup is a sign that its global recognition and influence are expanding across Asia as well.
