The girl group BLACKPINK opened their world tour in Los Angeles, USA, setting a record for the largest audience turnout in history for a girl group.

YG Entertainment announced that BLACKPINK sold out all seats for their North America first concert of the world tour 'DEADLINE' held at Sofi Stadium in Los Angeles on the 12th and 13th (local time). The agency stated, "BLACKPINK achieved a record of selling out both days and gathering 100,000 fans, the highest audience turnout among girl groups worldwide at Sofi Stadium."

During the first concert on the 12th, BLACKPINK showcased solo stages highlighting their unique personalities along with their hit songs, drawing enthusiastic cheers from local fans in North America. The intense live band sound combined with the cheers of over 50,000 audience members created an exhilarating atmosphere throughout the stadium.

Starting with the Los Angeles concert, BLACKPINK will continue to perform in major North American cities such as Chicago, Toronto, and New York. After the North America tour, they will take the stage in major European cities like Milan, Italy, Barcelona, Spain, and London, UK, as well as in stadiums in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, Bangkok, Thailand, and Tokyo, Japan.
